Over on dcrainmakers review site he's got a comment q&a thread going...looks like there may be a special charger for it that lets it keep working even though it's being charged (like say, from an external li-on battery).
That means you could get infinite life out of it...ie on a long ultra of 24 hrs it wouldn't go dead.
Alternative is to buy the 310XT which is kinda big and has 18-20 hours of battery
I have a 405 and the touch bezel is worthless after sweating! It sounds like they might have fixed that problem! If it will last over 20 hrs, I'm definately sold!
