Hi Thomas, I came across your blog, after you requested to follow me on Twitter (1727GB). Congratulations on your achievements. From someone who knows what it means to take on a health transformation (I’m an after 40 member of the ½ my size club & newbie fitness nut) I know what it means to take on the daunting challenge of true transformation. Doing it in such a public way as you have (with your Blog), is very brave; however inspiring.
Appreciate the challenge with road injuries too. After my first (and only) Marathon, I injured myself...I decided long distance running wasn't my thing. I do however totally agree that one of the benefits of running is being able to see some amazing places. I was a business road (air) warrior and discoverd so many amazing places through running; without which I never would have experienced. As I slip through the back half of my forties, I find I need to pay a lot of attention to injuries. I tend to mix my running, cycling, and swimming; too much of anything causes me injury (I get carried away) Again very impressive (the Blog and the Transformation) Cheers
