I came across this video showing good trail running form. His recommendations align with some of the key forms I have been practicing from ChiRunning, specifically keeping the spine tall, maintaining a neutral pelvis, and falling forward from the heels.
Thoughts?
Nice find! Hey Tom, have you read "Born To Run" yet?
ReplyDeleteI didn't "read" Born To Run but instead listened to it on my Blackberry while running! Loved the book, great writer. But to be honest, I didn't learn much that I could apply to my running. By far, the book that helped my running the most was ChiRunning. By changing my running form to align with what is taught in ChiRunning I have totally eliminated my calf muscle injury problems. Highly recommended!
