So once again I find myself in a position where I need to get refocused. I've proven once again that I need to continue to count my calories and make sure I am eating less than I am burning, so I can continue to lose weight and eventually achieve my weight loss goal.
However, I've decided to take the next couple of weeks off from my diet so that I can throughly enjoy the holiday break. I will resume my diet in January.
No worries. I will get there.

ReplyDeleteHey, I just want to say that as an inconsistent trail runner I found your site inspiring. I have never been more than 10 pounds over weight, not have I overtrained, but I am very injury prone and lack the motivation and discipline to set this type of goal. Pathetic since my degree is in Exercise Physiology. I did sign up for the Cross Timbers 15 K and maybe I can try to keep up with you. Thanks for posting this. I might even go out and run today.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous--I am inspired by you being inspired by me (OK, that made sense to me when I wrote it)!
ReplyDeleteI also struggled with injuries until I stumbled across the ChiRunning book. I don't know the cause of your injuries, but you might want to pick up a copy and check it out. Worked for me. Hopefully it will work for you also!
Happy trails!
